Shanghai Ranking: twenty disciplines from the University of Oulu ranked among the world's best

The Global Ranking of Academic Subjects published by the Shanghai Ranking assessed 5,000 universities across 55 disciplines this year. Twenty disciplines from the University of Oulu ranked among the top 500 globally.

Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Oulu achieved the highest placement, ranking 30th among all evaluated universities. Within Europe, it placed fourth, and among Finnish universities, it was the top-ranked.

Additional fields within the top 100 globally included Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Hospitality & Tourism Management, and Mining & Mineral Engineering.
